Of course, if you have a subscription to Photoshop on desktop, you can download the companion app. Affinity is a great photo manipulation app and rivals Photoshop desktop. There's 3D sculpting programs too, like Nomad. If you like to paint, you're going to love apps like Procreate, Clip Studio, ArtStudio Pro, and ZenBrush II, all of which can be exported and uploaded to a cloud to transfer to a laptop or desktop to work on there. I finally broke down and got the newest IPP 5th Gen and Pencil, and I'm in love again. I was also tired of plugging it in through the lightning port and having problems with the touch screen on that, too. I don't know if it's because there was a problem with the iPad, or because the tempered screen I had on it was causing problems registering, but I was tired of it. But over the last year, the screen got really difficult to use. I got the IPP 12.9 3rd Generation with the 1st Gen Apple Pencil back in 2017, and I liked it a lot. Also don’t forget the Apple Pencil so take the price of that into consideration too lel. If you’re willing to spend a chunk more money, I really recommend the iPad Air, it’s absolutely epic.įinally, if you want the ultimate flex, get the 11 inch. I honestly recommend the iPad if you have a tight budget as it works perfectly fine and it has lots of very nice features, including splitscreen. BEST DRAWING SOFTWARE FOR IPAD REDDIT PLUSMy brother has a 6th gen and he does heavy video editing on a 40 dollar app in it, plus gaming. Just like advertised, it is delightfully capable. If you’re broke, you should get a simple iPad 8th gen. BEST DRAWING SOFTWARE FOR IPAD REDDIT PROThe iPad Pro has a few small things that are just really cool, including Face ID, juicier cameras, and flexing rights. Expensive, but as powerful as the iPad Pro with its new chip. Where I live, the 11 inch costs like 50 bucks more than the iPad Air, so that’s why I got it, but if you’re a US kid, I really do recommend the air. Personal preference, plus it’s also really expensive. My friend has the 12.9 but it’s so big and weird to hold I don’t enjoy using it. I got an Apple Pencil with it, which by the way fell in water once, and it all works perfectly. Hi, I’m currently typing this on my new iPad Pro 11 inch, and so far I’ve loved it.
